Inverters

Inverters
Most swimming pool recirculating pumps are over specified for the duty required and as such there is scope to turn them down and save considerable amounts of money on the electricity usage. Whenever you save electricity you are reducing the CO2 emissions and carbon footprint of your swimming pool and spa. Each swimming pool has a minimum turnover set by the manufacturer or consultant at the time of installation.

SSL inverters allow the user to turn down the recirculating pump during periods of non pool use (overnight) to the minimum level. While the pool is being used the recirculating pump motor is set based on chlorine demand.
When the inverters are installed, the pump can be turned down from 100% to 40%.

 

 


 

Multicyclones

Multicyclones
A MultiCyclone centrifugal water filter is a pre-filtration device that is capable of saving water, reducing filter maintenance and works on the basis of centrifugal water filtration. There are no moving parts to wear and tear, and no filter media to clean or replace.

Dirty water enters the base of the MultiCyclone, and dirt particles as small as 10 microns are separated out and held in the clear base bowl ready for easy flushing to waste. The water that enters the filter is now significantly cleaner, therefore reducing backwash cycles, by at least 50%, and filter maintenance.

 


 

Heat Pumps

Energy Saving Heat Pump
The Pro-Pac Range are purpose designed for swimming pool heating and can be installed outside or in a plant room. They are highly efficient with a wound tube in tube Titanium condenser and come with a rotary or scroll compressor and water flow switch. Can be fitted with a soft start should the installation require and are produced in 8kW or 22kW sizes, in both single and three phase models.
